Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD

Stayed one night here. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the French Quarter. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, helpful, and funny. Overall a great experience. I would stay here again.

Today is my last day at this hotel. I must tell you - - what a DELIGHT this hotel is. Ive been staying at one of these very famous historic $650/night hotels and finally couldnt take the inadequacies of the hotel. I know the Hampton Garden Inn chain of hotels from back home (New York City/New Jersey) and i've always have had good experiences there. When I called to "get rescued" from this fancy awful hotel, I spoke with BRANDIE IVICEVICH who was extremely accomodating for my wife and I (as well as to my 2 friends who were at a different, but similar high priced hotel). Checking in was SMOOTH. She then showed us the laundry room, the fitness center (which is surprisingly pretty adequate in such a small hotel chain). They have little snacks and sodas for purchase. Room has many electrical outlets (for charging cellphones, laptops, earbuds, etc). Refrigerator. a nice working desk. Microwave. Cable TV (i dont know if it's actual cable, but i was ableto watch the olympics, CNN, FOX, and, NETFLIX!). Bathroom and showers all new. Lighting is great in the bathroom. Closet space. Clean as a whistle. andddd, within walking distance to the french quarter (something like a 7 minute walk). oh - - breakfast too (ok, not the fanciest breakfast, just your basic bacon, eggs, cereal, etc - - but fine). "HOP ON/HOP OFF" tourist sightseeing bus on the next corner....kinda cool/ you could certainly go to one of those jazzed up, b.s. hotels and bellyache and complain; or come here, where you have anything and everything that you really need....and save your money for these ridiculously expensive restaurants that will cost you a arm and a leg!

Perfect location for exploring the French Quarter. Staff was very welcoming and the rooftop pool is amazing! Two complaint however. First, the elevators can be incredibly slow and you can wait up to 10 minutes to get into one. Second, the AC unit in our room made an extremely loud noise every 5 minutes. We mentioned it to the front desk but no one could figure out why it was doing it so we had to turn the AC unit off altogether. However g we would come back to this location in the future.

The gentleman at reception desk was super nice for giving me a free bottle of smart water, and I was able to check in early once my room was ready. Unlike the lady I was dealing with at doubletree nyc downtown who being extremely rude and refuse to let me check in early despite other people who I assumed are not even members were literally checking in. Room was nice as well.

We recently spent 4 nights at this Garden Inn, our second time here. The location is perfect, close to the French Quarter, but out of the evening madness. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. There may have been small faults, but neither of us have OCD personalities, so we didn't notice. We did not experience any issues with the elevators or other facilities. Our limited interaction with the staff was pleasant. The valet parking was quick and polite. A minor complaint was that our room was only serviced the first day of our stay; I'm not sure what happened the other days. No big deal, as I don't clean my own bathroom daily. Overall, a great stay. We will definitely stay again when in New Orleans.

Racquel is the best I checked in today and her personality is definitely one for the books. She made me feel right at home away from home, gave me a detailed layout of the hotel and where I could find everything. Her bubbly personality is one you need in your place of business and she will keep me coming to stay with Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter. She kept telling me that my stay here was going to be the best and it’s already starting off great meeting a great person like Racquel. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Bring your kids family and friends to Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter. Racquel will take care of you.

Location is fantastic 3 blocks from bourbon. Restaurants and shopping all around. Check in went good but they have maybe 2 luggage carts a family of 4 one who is disabled and 2 dogs getting everything to and from the car was a pain in the ass
